Luke Lawler, Co-CEO
Specialist in the design, delivery and measurement of scalable, virtual models of healthcare, as a leader in technology-enabled health
Strengths include collaborating with business partners to devise clinical and business strategies that are implemented via co-creation, with a focus on agility and a continuous cycle of improvement.
Career highlight co-founding Prima Health Solutions* and developing the innovative Healthy Weight For Life programs that has generated multiple published papers that help advance the understanding of the 'real world' management of common chronic diseases. The publications include:
- knee osteoarthritis outcome data which contributed to treatment recommendations in the RACGP treatment guidelines
- new hip osteoarthritis outcome data addressing a gap in the literature related to the dose-dependent impact of weight loss on symptoms of hip osteoarthritis
- new clinical insights regarding knee osteoarthritis symptom improvement, specifically:
- what matters most is percentage weight loss, not starting weight
- patients with more severe starting pain can experience greater improvements
